Its dark hue is interrupted only by the soft movement of veining in shades of ivory, forming patterns that accentuate this precious material of classic Italian architecture, expertly interpreted by Laminam’s technological innovation.
Visually striking in the 1000×3000 mm and 1620×3240 mm large sizes, the marble in the Noir Desir series for flooring and cladding establishes a new canon of beauty, elegance and distinction, expressed on large size ceramic slabs.
This product is part of the colour range of the I Naturali series, enhanced by 3 special finishes, Natural, Bocciardato and Polished, therefore offering the designer three ways of working with the slab which will add unique value to any space. Suitable for cladding, flooring, exterior façades and furnishing surfaces, such as kitchen countertops, table tops and furniture surfaces, Noir Desir can be employed in aesthetic projects aiming for visual continuity, thanks to the wide range of thicknesses, including Laminam 3/3+, Laminam 5/5+, Laminam 12+ and Laminam 20+.
The R9 and R10 anti-slip finishes, for the Natural and Bocciardato versions respectively, also make Noir Desir the ideal marble-based inspiration for flooring and cladding in interior or exterior residential and commercial settings exposed to water.

Please be advised that slight variations in color, tone, and pattern distribution are inherent characteristics of the manufacturing process. While materials such as "B.Match" (Bookmatch) are designed for pattern continuity, perfect alignment across seams is subject to the specific layout and slab dimensions (e.g., 127"x63" or 47"x118").
Surface Finishes:
This disclaimer applies to all specialized Formino finishes, including: Lucidato / Polished / Starlit: high-gloss surfaces designed for maximum light reflection. Natural / Soft Touch / Matte: smooth, non-reflective surfaces for a contemporary feel. Textured (DNA, Rain, Bocciardato, Fiammato): tactile surfaces with intentional ridges and grain to mimic weathered or hammered stone.
Installation & Technical Standards:
Laminam is a high-performance technical porcelain available in various thicknesses, such as 1.2cm (reinforced with mesh) for countertops and 5.6mm or 3.5mm for wall cladding. Handling: large-format slabs must be handled using professional suction equipment to prevent stress fractures. Fabrication: to maintain the integrity of the edges and prevent chipping, fabrication must be performed using diamond-tipped tools specifically rated for high-density porcelain. Substrate: slabs must be installed on a perfectly level, stable surface to ensure long-term durability.
Maintenance & Liability:
While Laminam is exceptionally resistant to heat, scratches, and stains, it is not indestructible. Avoid dropping heavy objects on edges and do not use abrasive chemicals on polished finishes.
